either upgraded or changes in the rooms should have been informed to us 3. 3 rooms given as super deluxe and one room as deluxe - Both the things were not informed to us. Worst experience This worst experience started as soon as we landed in the hotel 1. Overall, it was a comfortable and good stay at Sky Heaven. Another reason I booked hotel in this area is because the area is the usual starting point for Triund hill trek.

The Bhagsu waterfall is a nice place to visit. The Dalai Lama main temple at Mcleodganj is nearby and one can take a leisure walk. There are auto rickshaws available that take Rs 50 per person to take to Mcleodganj. As for the convenience and nearby facilities, there are quite a few restaurants that are open till just around midnight. Since the hotel use solar power for hot water, there is sometimes delay to get hot water in tap, when the weather is not sunny. We faced a minor problem of getting hot water for bath. Hence a good and nutritious way to start a day. The breakfast served were in buffet that included eggs, omlete, bread toast, parantha, tea or coffee. All rooms have balcony and the view from it is good. The hotel is very close to Bhagsu temple, just 400 mtrs. There is enough parking space at hte hotel. The road from parking stand to the hotel is very steep. However, the roads are narrow and very steep. The hotel is at the main parking area of Bhagsu Nag. I booked hotel for stay from 8th to 13th April 2018. Overall a good experience but would think twice about staying in the same hotel again… I also found that the rooms seemed to be damp at night time, maybe its just where the hotel is situated. Back to the hotel rooms, I would ask at reception to have NEW sheets put on the bed before you sleep, not that they are dirty but a few marks that did not come out in the wash. Plenty of restaurants to eat in, but you have to be careful how the food is being prepared. A lot of small shops to buy souvenirs, some of them are a bit over priced. Take a walk to the temple and get a blessing, when finished take a walk to the top of the waterfall.

The decor needs to be updated, but like most hotel rooms you are really only sleeping in them. Ok its a 3* hotel in the foot of The Himalayas.
